![]() Today I’m kicking off a NEW Habit Change Series! A 4-part series that will open your mind, space, and time for old habits to be shifted into new. {Happy Dance} Habits run deep, and we could get carried away learning all about them… but let’s simplify it for today and just know this: Who you are right now began with your programming (which was put into you at a young age). -> This programming in turn created your identity and beliefs. -> Those directly impact the decisions you make, the behavior you have, the actions you carry out, and therefore the results you are experiencing. WOW, told you it was deep (and that’s just the surface of it)! {Geeeez} All this to say, it’s easy to see how it can be difficult to make a change in your life, isn’t it?! Not to worry though - today I’m going to let you in on a big ol’ habit changing secret! {Celebrate} Are you ready? {Of course you are!} The secret to habit change is simply this - *Small Changes Create Big Results* {Truth}
Sounds easy, right? Too easy maybe! But this is incredible news… because it’s so much easier for you to make small consistent changes over time than it is to for you to make big changes that become overwhelming and end up fizzling out! {Can I get a *like* just for this?!} ;-) Think about that for a second. I imagine you’re with me feeling like you’d rather take small steps on a regular basis to get lasting results. Doesn’t it just take the pressure off? {Exhale} So let’s begin today with the first step I take whenever I do something new… and that’s being in a state of awareness. Today (or better yet, this week) simply notice (without judgment) your habits (the good, the bad, and the ugly). What do they look like? How do you feel about them? What thoughts do you hold around them? {Hmmm?} Bring that awareness along with you next week to begin our first small change. And going forward over 3 weeks we’ll take it a bit broader with 3 small changes you can implement easily to see and *feel* a difference in your life. {Are we happy dancing again?
